Mark your calendars already as the much-awaited trailer of Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bhoot is finally out as it has WINNER written all over it. From the mood, setting, story to performances, Bhoot sets the tone right from the word go and keeps you on the edge of your seat. However, the reaction around the film is mixed.
While the majority agree that Bhoot has made its entry among one of the most anticipated films of the year, there is a section of the audience who are not pleased with the trailer and have called it a joke.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has said his latest tweet that the trailer of Bhoot is spooky, scary and definitely raises the expectations around the film. Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel has said that the trailer of Bhoot is fantastic and raises the bar for horror films in India. Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as KRK, has also remarked that the film will be a treat to watch after RGV’s Bhoot as it is quite interesting and scary.
Meanwhile, a section of cinephiles have given their thumbs down to the film stating that the trailer of the film is not scary at all. Commenting on the trailer, a Twitter user has said that Bhoot is another unintentional comedy from Karan Johar.
Helmed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and bankrolled by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions, Bhoot is slated to hit the silver screens on February 21, 2020. It is also the first-ever horror film of Vicky Kaushal. After Bhoot, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in upcoming films like Sardar Udham Singh and Takht.
