Commando 3 box office collection prediction day 1: Looking at the lineup of Vidyut Jammwal’s films, it is evident that the actor entered Bollywood to do the Commando series. Despite the franchise being a flop venture, the makers continue to shell out installments after installments hoping for some miracle. This time, it is no different.

Commando 3 aims to go bigger and better with Vidyut Jammwal throwing more kicks and punches in this out and out action thriller film. In his chase against a criminal gang, Vidyut Jammwal (Karanveer Singh Dogra) is joined by Adah Sharma (Bhavana Reddy) and debutant Angira Dhar (Mallika Sood).

Ahead of the film release this Friday, i.e November 28, the open secret among the audiences as well as trade analysts, is that Commando 3 will not be a game-changer. Let alone game changer, it will be a tough ride for the film to even sustain at the cinema screens for more than a week. Here’s why-

  • Commando 1, which was titled as Commando: A One Man Army, featured Vidyut Jammwal, Pooja Chopra and Jaideep Ahlawat in key role. While the film garnered mixed reviews, it earned only Rs 21.47 crore in its entire run. Commando 2 also faced a similar feat. Titled as Commando 2: The Black Money Trail, the film starred Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma in key roles and garnered a lifetime collection of 30 crore.
  • The buzz around Commando 3 is an all-time low. Be it the trailer or songs, nothing has worked in favour of the film and it is definitely going to impact the business of the film. Trade analysts have predicted a lifetime collection of Rs 30-35 crore for Commando 3. Speaking about the first day itself, the film might earn Rs 5-6 crore or even less.

  • Just after a week of Commando 3 release, the much-anticipated films Panipat and Pati Patni Aur Woh will release. While Panipat starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon is a historical drama, Pati, Patni Aur Woh starring Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar is a rom-com. Henceforth, the audience will have far more exciting choice and might want to wait a little.
