This year’s Golden Globe nomination is not packed with surprises as Netflix is leading the race by earning 17 nominations across the board including TV series to motion drama. HBO is not even close yo give competition to Netflix but it earned a number of nods from the streaming platforms.

Netflix is leading by a high number and earned a total of 6 nominations for the Marriage Story which is a full-fledged drama film and is directed by Noah Baumbach. The Marriage story starred Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver in the lead role. Netflix also rolled a number of nomination for the crime thriller film The Irishman. The film received a good rating from the viewers and is directed by Martin Scorsese.

The Golden Globes raised the nomination for the series and films like Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Todd Philipp’s Joker which is of no surprise to get into the nomination list of Golden Globes and The Two Popes received the four nods for the Fernando Meirelles’s drama film.

Jennifer’s The Morning Show was also nominated along with Big Little Lies’ season 2. The total number of nods given to Big Little lies were three whereas Fleabag also received three nods and Jennifer’s The Morning Show was also on the same count. The Marriage Story stands on the top list and after it comes The Irishman and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood which held up the five nods for the nomination in Golden Globes.

Scarlett Johansson is nominated for the Best Actress in the Golden Globes along with Charlize Theron, Saoirse Ronan, Cynthia Erivo and Renee Zellweger.

Joaquin Phoenix is standing up on the list of best actor for his film Joker along with Adam Drive for the film Marriage Story. The 2020 year’s nomination is of no surprise a sit nominated the best deserving series/ films/ actor and actress.
