Jacqueline Fernandez, who has already established herself in the Hindi film industry, is now heading South, with reports saying she has been roped in for director Krish’s next film opposite Pawan Kalyan.
The film is reportedly a large-scale epic that will be a mass entertainer, intended to entertain people across India like the last Telugu sensation Baahubali.
The film will see Pawan Kalyan returning to his mass entertainer roots after 2014. He had been busy with his political party, the Jana Sena, and is making a cinematic comeback with the Telugu remake of the film Pink. He will then work on the Krish film.
This will mark Jacqueline Fernandez’s second outing in Telugu films as earlier she appeared in a special song for the Prabhas-starrer Saaho.
The director was also in talks with Disha Patani but nothing concrete has come out so far on that front. In such a situation, Jacqueline has been reportedly finalised with no word on whether they were offered the same role.
Nonetheless, fans of Jacqueline Fernandez are eagerly waiting to see her back on the big screen as this will mark the first time the Sri Lankan beauty will feature in an epic drama.
The film is special for the actor because her last two outings have both been turned down by fans for being painstakingly bad, with Drive turning out to be one of the worst rated films of 2019.
The Krish directed epic will greatly benefit the actor in rejuvenating her mass appeal while Jacqueline’s role would attract Hindi audiences’ attention.
