Pati Patni Aur Woh: After winning hearts in films like Luka Chuppi and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, the chocolate boy of the industry Kartik Aaryan is all set to appear in the role of Chintu Tyagi in Mudassar Aziz’s film Pati, Patni Aur Woh. It is a rom-com that will hit the silver screens on December 6.
Pati, Patni Aur Woh is the remake of 1978 film with the same title that featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in leads. Recently, while promoting the film, the lead star revealed that though many actors do their homework by watching the original film before appearing in its remake, he had a different take on this ritual.
He revealed that he wanted to give a new and natural flavor to his character so he didn’t watch the original film. He further said that though, the basic plot of the film remains the same but the makers have added new elements to the story to make it more entertaining, which will be the new part in this remake.
Talking about the story of the film, Kartik Aaryan appears in the role of Chintu Tyagi, who is a government officer and is married to Vedika Tyagi (Bhumi Pednekar). Their life takes a turn when Chintu Tyagi falls for his colleague Tapasya Singh (Ananya Panday). The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz and will face a clash with a historic-drama film Panipat at the box office.
Apart from the lead stars, the film also features Sunny Singh, Kriti Sanon, Aparshakti Khurrana and Rajesh Sharma in supporting roles. On the work front, Kartik Aaryan will also appear in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kiara Advani and Dostana 2 with Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor.
