Street Dancer 3D box office collection day 1: After the first box office clash between Tanhaji and Chhapaak, it seems that now its time for another clash as this Friday will see a dance drama clashing with a sports drama. Yes, you guessed it right, finally, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D have released with Kangana Ranaut’s film Panga some days prior to Republic day.
While Street Dancer 3D is based on the same concept of ABCD and ABCD 2, Panga brings the story of a mother who re-establishes herself as a kabaddi player. As per early trends, it is said that Street Dancer 3D can overpower Panga at the box office and as per trade pundits, the film is expected to open with good numbers.
Releasing in 3000 screens, Street Dancer 3D is expected to earn Rs 15 to 16 crore on its first day as the story will attract the youth. Moreover, apart from Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, the element of Nora Fatehi in the film might also prove to be a benefit for the makers. Further, the 3D format along with the dance sequences will definitely make numbers for the film.

Meanwhile, Panga has a strong story and actors like Kangana Ranaut and Jassi Gill will definitely make the film a must-watch. Trade analyst Girish Johar revealed that since the film is releasing in 1200 to 1500 screens, it is expected that it will earn Rs 5 to 6 crore on the first day. Though. it is a light-hearted, family entertainer film and comes up with a strong message, it will target audience above 30 years and needs a strong word of mouth to attract moviegoers.
Further, Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is gearing up to cross Rs 200 crore at the box office so it will be a fight between three films and it will interesting to see what is audience preference at the box office.
