Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been massively trolled on the microblogging site Twitter for his concept of India statement that he made during the talk show of Anupama Chopra at Film companion. Tweeple has questioned Saif Ali Khan’s history knowledge and asked whether he has seen an ancient India map.
One of the Twitter users wrote that he should read history first before quoting it. While another user wrote that he should first check the ancient maps which clearly mentioned that India existed before the British.
Sarçastically, one of the users wrote probably this is the ‘reason’ why Native Americans are called Red Pakistanis because according to ‘history buff’ Saif Ali Khan there was no concept of India until the British came.
It all started during an interview with Anupama Chopra for Film Companion, on being asked whether the politics in Tanhaji is questionable or not, Saif Ali Khan dismissed as a part of the history. He said he didn’t think there was even a concept of India till the British gave it one. This didn’t go well with the tweeple and they chose to troll him.
