PUBG MOBILE was released in February 2018 and the online multiplayer battle royale game has now become India’s favorite. Before PUBG Mobile, people in India were not aware of pursuing Gaming as a career, India was not a popular name, especially in the console and PC segments.
With over 222 million active users in India, PUBG Mobile has evolved the Esports culture in the country as it is now played at a competitive level. Many YouTubers like Soul Mortal, Dynamo gaming have achieved lots of success through PUBG Mobile by streaming it live on Youtube.
Teams like Soul, Entity Gaming, IND, INS have represented India at the international level in the PUBG Mobile Club Open which is considered the biggest PUBG Mobile tournament. The recent PMCO Fall Split 2019 had a massive prize pool of $ 500,000. Bigetron RA from Indonesia won the first prize as the team played a competitive tournament like a normal classic match.
After getting so much success in India, Tencent owned PUBG Mobile is all set to release its first web series which will be featured in Hindi. The web series will go live on the official YouTube channel of PUBG Mobile India on Christmas Day, December 25. The official teaser of the web series is live on the Instagram page of PUBG Mobile India.
PUBG Mobile also released a documentary based that featured India’s top PUBG Mobile players Soul Mortal, Fnatic Scout and OR Carry. The documentary was released during the PMCO South Asia Regional Finals 2019 on the PUBG Mobile Esports YouTube channel.
