Online multiplayer battle royale game PUBG Mobile has announced the much-awaited 0.16.0 update on Monday. The new update will roll out on December 11, however, the servers will not be taken offline when the update will be rolled out.
The new update will acquire 0.67 storage space in both Android and IOS smartphone users only for those who have installed the previous version of the game, confirmed by the PUBG Mobile. Players on different update patches will not be able to invite each other, so they have to update the game soon after the latest update.
This update is themed as the winter festival by PUBG Mobile, which will some major changes in the battle royale game. The PUBG Mobile 0.16.0 update will bring new features like switching between Third Person Perspective (TPP) to First-Person Perspective(FPP), snow in Erangel map and a new death race mode.
Here is the list of major changes in the 0.16.0 update:
- Winter theme mode: Snow will be added in some places of the Erangel map, which will be seen in random classic matches.
- Weapons added in the waiting lobby.
- Switch between TPP to FPP and vice-versa while playing.
- Rage gear mode in the Evoground.
- Heal up while moving.
- Option to enable or disable slide in TDM.
- Smoke grenade skin added.
- Vehicle workshop will be added later.
According to the leaks, rage gear mode will have two different modes; one is rage gear TDM and the second is rage gear pickup. In the Rage gear pickup mode, players will get armored vehicles, players have to take down enemies using heavy weapons and collect boxes.
