The first flagship smartphone from Realme, the Realme X2 Pro has started getting the latest software update with Wi-Fi calling support and January 2020 Android security patch. Last week, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth announced the arrival of the January update of Realme X2 Pro with the VoWiFi feature on the device to enable to Wi-Fi calling system.
As we told that the latest update has also brought the January 2020 security patch to fix several security problems. Earlier, the flagship smartphone received the December 2019 security patch and a Dark Mode toggle through a software update.
The changelog provided by Realme in a community forum states that Realme X2 Pro’s latest update gets firmware version RMX1931EX_11.A.09. The most valuable and important feature that this new software update brings is that VoWiFi to enable the Wi-Fi calling on Airtel and Jio networks.
Both the telecom companies enabled the Wi-Fi calling support on their networks for different smartphone devices of the company. As the CEO promised the feature, all the users are excited and happy to get it on their device.
The new software update also fixes some known security issues with the January 2020 Android security patch to improve the system stability and give a good user experience. It also fixes an issue that could create a problem while posting a video on Instagram.
On the other hand, all the users who have received the latest software update on their devices are experiencing good functioning now and it seems that the latest update really works to fix the issues on Realme X2 Pro. The CEO has also promised that other smartphones of Realme will also be soon receiving the update to have a great user experience.
