After Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted and appealed to Delhi women to cast their vote, Union Minister Smriti Irani launched a scathing attack and targetted AAP convenor stating don’t you think that women of Delhi are capable enough to choose their candidates. She also called the Delhi Chief Minister an anti-women person using a hashtag.
In his today’s early-morning tweet, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed the women of the Capital to fulfill the national duty, the way they take care of their families and houses. He also urged the women to take men’s of the house along with them and discuss to which party they are going to vote.
The battle of words didn’t end here, Arvind Kejriwal hit back saying Smriti ji the women of Delhi have already decided whom they are going to elec this time, and they have also chosen for their families too. Although, they have to run the house.
Polling to elect 70-member house is underway and would end by 6 pm under the eye of the Delhi Election Commission and heavy security.
It was not the first time that BJP leaders tried to target Arvind Kejriwal. BJP unit chief Manoj Tiwari questioned the timing of Delhi CM reciting Hanuman Chalisa. Not just this, the saffron leaders added AAP convenor impured the god after he visited the Hanuman Temple.
His ally, Parvesh Verma had called Delhi CM a terrorist during the election campagin.
