After the continuous provocating statements the Election Commission on Wednesday banned the BJP’s star campaigners state of finance leader Anurag Thakur and MP Parvesh Verma. The election commission ordered the party to remove the name of the two leaders from the star campaigners list ahead of the Delhi elections on February 8.
Earlier, Congress leader Ajay Maken informed media that they urged the election commission of India to ban the two leaders of the BJP from campaigning because of the false language and provocating remarks. The Congress leader also told that the EC had accepted on Tuesday that such remarks should not be made during the campaigns. They showed the confidence in the election commission to ban the BJP leaders Anurag Thakur and Parvesh Verma in the legislative assembly elections of Delhi on February 8. The Congress leader also said that the BJP leaders are now scared and making the provocative statement to polarize the atmosphere.
Also, BJP MP Parvesh Verma in an interview with news agency ANI said that the people of Delhi should rethink why the number of people is gathering in the Shaheen Bagh area. He made a provocating argument by saying, they will enter into the homes of Delhiites and rape their sisters, daughters. He added that they will kill them, so Delhi people still have time because after that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah won’t be able to help.
Anurag Thakur also targetted the Shaheen Bagh protesters and called them a mob who plans to divide the nation. Anurag Thakur also commenting on the opposition Aam AAdmi Party on twitter and his campaigns. The Union Minister misses no chance to hit AAP on any issue. But his false language dragged him into trouble.
