On October 21, voters of Maharashtra locked the fates of candidates who have been in the race for Maharashtra assembly elections 2019. Goregaon is one of the key seats of Maharashtra’s 288 constituencies, where, BJP candidate Vidya Jaiprakash Thakur has won aginst Congress candidate Mohite Yuvraj Ganesh. Vidya Thakur has won with a margin of 48,907 votes in his account from Goregaon constituency.

The election result is going to be declared today i.e. October 24 by 6:00 PM and the results will decide if BJP will stay in power or it will be Congress which will be elected.

Maharashtra Goregaon assembly election 2019 candidates list: Yuvraj Ganesh Mohite of Congress, Ajay Kailashnath Dubey of Jan Adhikar Party, Amol Dasharath Sawant of Bahujan Samaj Party, Virendra Vijay Jadhav of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Mahendra Malusare Bhonsle of BJP, Purushottam Manubhai Patel—Independent candidate, Adv. Mitesh Varshney- Independent candidate.

Maharashtra Goregaon assembly election 2014 voter turnout: In the previous Assembly election, there was a voter turnout of 48% and the margin of victory for the BJP candidate Vidya Jaiprakash Thakur was 2.9%.

Maharashtra Goregaon assembly election result 2014: Vidya Thakur of the Bhartiya Janata Party, defeated Subhash Desai of Shiv Sena with over 4756 votes. It was a close fight and this time, once again, it will be Vidya Jaiprakash Thakur who will be fighting to remain in power.

Maharashtra Goregaon assembly election result 2014 voters count: A total of 163607 people voted in the 2014 Maharashtra Goregaon assembly election out of which 70268 were women and 93339 were men.

The main fight this year is between BJP candidate Vidya Jaiprakash Thakur and Congress candidate Mohite Yuvraj Ganesh. If we have a look at the results of Lok Sabha elections 2019, then it is being anticipated that BJP will come back into power with a landslide win.

The results will be out on October 24. The voting will end at 6 pm in Maharashtra and Goregaon, which is the 163rd constituency out of the total 288 constituencies, is currently under BJP rule. With the alliance between BJP and Shiv Sena, BJP is sure of the win in Goregaon assembly election 2019.
