Before Australia headed to India to face the Virat Kohli and Co for the three-match ODI series, their captain Aaron Finch seemed quite confident about their performence in the subcontinent condition. The Aussie skipper cliamed that they are good enough to beat the Indian team on their home soil.
However, Finch had reason to be confident. Australia tasted a spctacular seroeies victory when the last time they visited India. They embarassed India after registering a 3-2 victory in the series. So, even though it has now become a huge task to defeat the Men in Blue at home, probably it is Finch and Co who are still capable to give anothe blow to the mighty Indians.
This will be Australia’s first assignment in the limited-overs cricket after the last year’s World Cup in England. The two sides will face each other on January 14 in Mumbai Wankhede stadium while the second match will take place in Rakot and the third one in Bangalore. Both teams was knocked out in the semi-finals after a smooth run in the tournament in the last World Cup.
Finch said their game plan will be well enough to shudder the home team. He also added that every subcontinent teams- be it India or Pakistan or Sri Lanka become very dominating once hey get on top and make their opponent to doubt their gameplan. Finch said ths time they won’t let that happen.
