Holding the fort with Shreyas Iyar, KL Rahul built a strong 100-run partnership that helped men in blue to set a total of 296 runs.

Kl Rahul came to bat at number 5 position after the dismissal of Prithvi shaw who scored much needed 40 runs off 42 balls. His impressive inning came at the time when Mayank Agarwal (1) and skipper Virat Kohli (9) went back early. Rahul rescued the team when India was 3 down for only 62 runs in 12.1 overs.

Showcasing his batting skills and power, KL Rahul hit the ball all along the park. His 112-run inning was laced with 9 boundaries and 4 sixes. This was KL Rahul’s 4th one-day international century that proved his talent and caliber. Looking at his recent form and batting, wicketkeeping skills, cricket pundits have started churning that he could be the next Mr. Dependable for Team India.
