India vs West Indies 3rd T20: Fans of both India and West Indies will get to watch a high-voltage final at the Wankhede Stadium tomorrow as there are absolutely no chances of precipitation in Mumbai. Fans should not worry as the weatherman has predicted sunshine throughout Wednesday.
The morale of both the teams is high since they have won one each game. The Kieron Pollard-led team, which made a comeback in the second T20I, will be looking to win the series. On the other side, the Virat Kohli-led side are eyeing to repeat the performance that fans witnessed in the first game in Hyderabad.
All eyes will be on Lendel Simmons and Evin Lewis combination which helped Windies to beat India by eight wickets in the second match at Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Simmons was named man of the match for his unbeaten 67 off 45 balls. Lewis also added 40 off 35 balls.
It was followed by Shimron Hetmyer’s 23 off 14 and Nicholas Pooran’s 38 off 18. The strong Windies batting side chased 170 with nine balls to spare. They only lost two wickets. On the other side, the Indian bowlers failed to perform. Only Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja could take wickets.
In the first match also, Windies had shown a good batting performance, posting 207 on the scoreboard. Thanks to Kohli and KL Rahul who led India to a six-wicket victory. Meanwhile, both sides are equipped with players who can turn the game away from opponents at any moment. These include Kohli, Sharma, Rahul, Pollard, Lewis, and Simmons.
