West Indies tour of India, 2019: India vice-captain Rohit Sharma is just one six away from reaching the milestone of 400 international sixes across all formats of cricket. The India opener had a great chance to reach the landmark in the 1st Twenty20 International (T20I) against the West Indies in Hyderabad on Friday but due to his getting out at 8 runs off 10 balls, Sharma managed only one boundary (4).

Now, Sharma has another chance to reach his dream destination in the 2nd T20I against Windies on Sunday at the Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. As of now, only Pakistan’s former skipper Shahid Afridi and West Indies’ Chris Gayle have hit more than 400 sixes in international cricket.

Gayle, who calls himself the Universe Boss, tops the list with 534 sixes that makes him the player to hit the most international sixes. Afridi is second in the list with 476 sixes. Now, Sharma just needs to hit a single 6 in the second intense battle against West Indies to register his name in the list along with becoming the first Indian to ink his name in the 400 6s club.
