South Africa Ambidextrous Spinner Gregory Mahlokwana: South Africa spinner Gregory Mahlokwana Mzansi has become an internet sensation, following his unique skills that he utilized during a Mzansi Super League match on Sunday. Playing for Cape Town Blitz, the ambidextrous bowler picked two wickets in the clash against Durban Heat.
Mahlokwana’s first victim was Sarel Erwee of Durban Heat. While giving himself room, Erwee played a shot only to get caught in the cover. He dismissed the left-handed batsman for 16 runs when he bowled with his right hand.

The next dismissal came when Cape Town Blitz bowler switched to his left hand and bowled a quicker directly hitting the stumps. It was D Vilas who completely missed the delivery. He scored eight runs.

Mahlokwana made his first-class debut in 2017 for Northern Cape. He has played six first-class, 25 list A and 21 T20I matches, picking up 11, 33, 16 wickets respectively. Meanwhile, Cape Town Blitz defeated Durban Heat by 10 runs. The team is leading the league winning three matches out of four.
Batting first Quinton de Kock-led team scored 174 for the loss of six wickets. MJ Ackerman and Asif Ali were the leading run scores. Both made 43 each and helped their team to post a defendable target. For Durban Heat, AL Phehlukwayo picked up two wickets. KA Maharaj, KJ Abbott, RS Bopara and MP Siboto got one each wicket.
Chasing down the target, Durban Heat got an early blow with the dismissal of opener AD Hales without troubling the scorer. Other than WJ Lubbe, no other player could reach to 25-run mark. He scored 83 but could not help his team to win the match. For Cape Town Blitz, Dale Steyn and Mahlokwanan took two each wicket. Wahab Riaz and SSB Magala got one each wicket.
A total of six teams are taking part in the Mzansi Super League. These are Cape Town Blitz, Nelson Mandela Bay Giants, Tshwane Spartans, Paarl Rocks, Durban Heat and Jozi Stars.
