Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourino banned his players from watching the clip of their 7-2 home defeat against Bayern Munich ahead of the second leg at the Allianz Arena. Mourinho said this is how he is preparing the Spurs to get over the frantic experience and face the German champions who thrashed the English side on October 1.
Mauricio Pochettino was the manager of the Tottenham side when Bayern defeated them horribly. Jose Mourinho, who has been replaced by the Argentine coach has said that he has watched the video of the match and doesn’t want his players to watch the video of the game.
Mourinho also said he has analyzed each and every single aspect of that match but he banned his players from seeing a single image of that match. He added that there is a certain way to play football and set the principles to play the game. He also said that he is trying to focus on his team.
Mourinho surprisingly left some of the key Spurs players with the likes of Serge Aurier, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen at home and expected to make some experiment with some young players.
The newly-elected Spurs boss said that as he has arrived at the club in mid-season and couldn’t get enough time to work and know the players, things will have to be done while they are running.
The experienced Portuguese manager further said that the players need to be coachable and open while his job is is to help the young boys in need.
