Messi Bouli’s late double helped Kerala Blasters to restrict Jamshedpur FC who looked impressive on Friday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The match finally ended up to a 2-2 draw.
However, Kerala looked in command in the first half but Jamshedpr scored their first goal thanks to Piti, who netted in the 38th minute to give his team lead. CK Vinneth added the second for the visitors in the 71st minute. Kerala’s Messi Bouli scored twice in 75th and 87th minute to level the score and rescued the hosts to take a point on the home.

Mario Arques who returned to Kerala squad after a long layoff gave a spectacular start to his team. He created some chances in the first half but couldn’t place it into the bar. Jamshedpur looked careless in the first half as some poor understanding in their defense line left Cameroonian striker free but Bouli failed to score for the hosts.
Kerala Blasters coach Eelco Schattorie said that they are unbeaten in the last four times. His team built confidence in the last three matches the way they scored, said the Dutch coach. He added playing Mario Arques was a big risk but he took it given the importance of the match. He further added that Sergio Cidoncha might miss the next game.
