Valencia vs Real Madrid: La Liga fans will get to watch one of the most crucial games of this season when Real Madrid take on Valencia on Sunday. Both the sides will face each other in their 201st game at Mestalla. The morale of both the teams will be high since they have been winning the past several games.

Zinedine Zidane’s Los Blancos are hopeful of thrashing Valencia in their home and reclaim top spot in the La Liga standings. Out of the last 10 matches they played, Real Madrid have won eight and two ended in a draw. They last met Club Brugge and defeated them 3-1.

Zidane is likely to play Dani Carvajal, Thibaut Courtois, Raphael Varane and several others who had not featured in the last game. While Real Madrid are likely to utilise Casemiro in Clasico and rest him today. He cannot play against leaders Barcelona if shown one yellow card at Mestalla.

Zidane, the former Real Madrid and Juventus star, had earlier hinted Casemiro would play when they travel to Mestalla as they wanted to focus on Valencia. The former French footballer had said that they were not interested in Barca game. While Valencia are confident to defeat Los Blancos and move ahead in the points table. They are currently standing at the eight spot, having won seven out of 16 games.

Albert Celades’ men are ready to lock horns against real Madrid with full confidence as they recently managed to book their place for the last-16 in the Champions League. They did it after seven years. Out of the last nine games, they have only lost one and won six. Two matches ended in a draw.

Meanwhile, this season’s Clasico will be played on Wednesday with top La Liga teams facing each other.
