83: Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh starrer 83 based on the journey of a legendary cricketer Kapil Dev is the much-anticipated film of the year. As the days are nearing to its release, the makers are all set to roll out the teaser and trailer of the film in Mumbai. According to a leading daily, the filmmakers are planning to launch the poster in Hyderabad which will help them to generate viewership of the South audience.

During the Hyderabad event, Dev, Madan Lal, Sunil Gavaskar, Mohinder Amarnath, Balwinder Sandhu, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Syed Kirmani, Sandeep Patil, Dilip Vengsarkar, Ravi Shastri, Kirti Azad, Yashpal Sharma, Roger Binny, Sunil Valson, Farokh Engineer and the team’s manager, PR Man Singh will attend the event.

Along with them, the film has a strong line up of the actors including Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Saqib Saleem, and Tahir Raj Bhasin, among others, as per the sources.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the makers have also began to share the first look posters of actors like Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem among others.

Film not only features Ranveer Singh but also stars Deepika Padukone, Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Amrita Puri, Ammy Virk, Chirag Patil, Jatin Sarna, Nishant Dahiya, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi among others. The film is based on India’s victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup against West Indies. The film is slated to release on April 10, 2020.

Film’s release was initially announced for April 5, 2019. It was later postponed August 30. Later, the release date was pushed to April 10, 2020 due to delays in pre-production.

Film will be theatrically released in India on April 10 2020, along with the dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu languages.

Story revolves around Kapil Dev’s journey of life entirely focussing on the making of his captain of the India national cricket team. He also won the 1983 Cricket World Cup
