Two unidentified person reportedly have opened fire outside Jamia Millia Islamia on Sunday night. Delhi have registered a case after the bike-bourne persons fired in the air right beside the where the anti-CAA protest took place. No evident of injury have been reported yet. This is the third attack in a week on the ongoing anti-CAA protest in Delhi.

Two unidentified gunmen riding a red scooter fired in front of the Gate number 5 of the Jamia Millia University where protesters were holding protest during last few weeks. The incident triggered panic among the students and locals who were congregated in large number in the area.

Delhi Police have said that they couldn’t find any evidence of bullet shells or firing at the site though a case has been filed. Investigations have been underway and no one are arrested yet.

The incident comes a day after another gunmen chanted pro-Hindu slogans and fired a Jamia student in broad daylight in front of police. A senior police officer said that a case of attempt to murder has been filed under sections of the IPC and the Arms Act. On Thursday, when the Jamia student were preparing to march to Rajghat on Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary, a 17-year-old came into the scene shouting at the students-Yeh lo Azaadi. He opened fire which injured a student of the Jamia University, Shadab Farooq. The student is currently admitted to the hospital and underwent a surgery.

Two days later, another gunman opened fire at Shaheen Bagh where a massive protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill has been going on. Here’s how Twitter reacted to the incident:
